Independent Portuguese restaurant in Coventry. 2014
Project architects, Fahrenheit, wanted to create an effective method of noise reduction whilst retaining a rustic aesthetic. Miller’s 1893 provided Muratto Cork Brick in two shades (which itself is produced in Portugal) on 2 walled areas as well as the exterior façade and entrance to the restaurant. This solution provided both authenticity and practicality to the project and was the first time that Muratto Cork Brick was implemented on a commercial basis in the UK.
